Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Mia Analytics (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.

2. The Service

Mia Analytics provides web and product analytics, including a browser snippet, a server-side SDK, an ingest API and a reporting dashboard. We may update, improve or change the Service over time.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the data you collect through the Service and for having a lawful basis to collect it.
• You must provide visitors with any notices and consent mechanisms required by applicable law, and configure the Service's consent options accordingly.
• You must not use the Service to collect special-category personal data, to track individuals unlawfully, or in any way that breaches applicable law.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and product keys secure.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it other than as permitted by law, or use it to transmit malicious code or send fraudulent event data.

5. Data processing

Where the Service processes personal data on your behalf, it does so as your processor and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing terms.

6. Availability & warranties

The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis and "as is", without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

Either party may end use of the Service in accordance with any applicable agreement. On termination, we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy and any data-processing terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
